CBSE 2026 Board Tentative Exam Dates Released: What Class 10 & 12 Students Need to Know

The tentative dates for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations for 2026 have been issued by the CBSE. This advanced announcement has set the entire student community together with the educational institutions with activity and directions have been laid down for students and teachers to prepare well for the examination.

The exams for both classes will have a start date of February 17, 2026, which gives students over a year to organize their study schedules. A kind of alert has been given to students to make proper time management in such a manner that they are able to accommodate academic pressures with other needs. The final examination for Class 10 is on March 9, 2026, while the Class 12 examinations would conclude by April 9, 2026.

It may be noted that, while most exams would be held from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, some subjects are scheduled to finish earlier by 12:30 PM. The second phase of the Class 10 exams is tentatively set to start from May 15, 2026.
