New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday said the city government is making sustained efforts to transform the national capital into a leading medical hub by strengthening healthcare infrastructure and widening access to quality medical services for all sections of society.
Addressing a gathering at the inauguration of Nova-Neo Hospital in Budh Vihar Phase 1, the Chief Minister said the government is seing up new state-of-the-art hospitals, modernising existing healthcare instituions and expanding the availability of specialist Hoctors to ensure timely, afFordable and high-quality mealthcare for every resilent of Delhi. The newly inaugurated NovaNeo Hospital will primarily focus on the treatment and specialised care of newborn infants. The inauguration ceremony was attended by North West Delhi Member of Parliament Yogendra Chandolia, Rithala MLA Kulwant Rana and several other dignitaries.
During her visit, CM Gup-ta toured the hospital premises and reviewed patient wards, diagnostic units and specialised departments. She also interacted with doctors and medical staff to gain an overview of the hospital’s medical facilities, advanced equipment and patient care services.
Extending her congratulations to the hospital management, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that NovaNeo Hospital would shops and MSME Technology Centres into structured collaboration, the partnership aims to accelerate indigenisation, enhance skill depth and foster innovation within the defence manufacturing ecosystem. It reflects a broader national direction: reduce import dependence, empower domestic industry — particularly MSMEs — and build a resilient, future-ready defence base anchored in Indian design and production.
