5 killed after speeding car drives in Mumbai, ambulance hit too

An accident took place on the Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai in the early morning hours of Wednesday in which at least five people died.

According to reports, in the incident, 10 people sustained injuries and has been taken to the hospital with the help of local people.

Meanwhile, a car at a high speed came and crashed into the ambulance along with three more vehicles.

After receiving information police reached the accident spot and relief and rescue operations are underway.

The condition of many injured people is very critical and Bandra to Worli road has been closed.

Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his condolence.

Taking to Twitter Prime Minister Modi’s office said, “Pained by the loss of lives due to an accident on the Bandra-Worli Sea link in Mumbai. Condolences to the bereaved families. I hope that those who have been injured have a speedy recovery.”
