With the probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case gaining momentum, the investigation agencies are coming across scores of statements giving twists and turns to the case every day.
Now the late actor’s former manager Shruti Modi’s lawyer, Ashok Saraogi has made startling revelations. He has alleged that Imtiaz Khatri, who is the son of a renowned Mumbai-based builder, supplied drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty. Apart from CBI, NCB is probing the drug angle in the case.
Some names have come up during the investigation, who were said to be supplying drugs to some actors in Bollywood. The agency is trying to establish whether these guys were also supplying drugs to Sushant Singh. The revelation about Khatri in an alleged drug supply network is being seen as an important development as far as probe into the actor’s death is concerned. According to sources, the agencies will be questioning some more people who are said to be close to Khatri.
Sources further said Khatri is politically well-connected and is allegedly Mumbai’s topnotch drug supplier.
Sushant Singh, along with his three sisters Nitu, Meetu and Priyanka Singh, was staying at the Waterstone resort from 25 November to 26 November 2019. Rhea was also present at the resort on the same dates.
His sisters had come to take Sushant with them to Chandigarh forever and did not want Sushant to meet his girlfriend.
However, all their efforts were in vain and Rhea and Sushant managed to meet in the hotel lobby while the sisters were in a special suit, booked for the late actor.
According to the staff members Sohail and Ashok, the Nagpur and Nashik police were also allegedly involved in facilitating the drug supply. Sources say that one of the Sushant’s staff members overheard his sisters talking about taking his property. His sisters said, ‘once Bhai moves to Chandigarh all of his property will come to us sisters’.
As Sushant came to know about his sister’s intention, he refused to go with them and the three of them left the resort angrily, sources say. Sushant reportedly then went back to Rhea’s Juhu apartment and didn’t speak with his three sisters for a month.
