The WTC, a part of the redevelopment plan that gathered pace after the Narendra Modi government came to power in 2014, promises to upgrade the national capital’s commercial spaces along the city’s lifeline, Ring Road. It encompasses about 25 acres of land and features 12 towers, each with 10 floors, offering ample space for businesses to grow and expand.

NBCC said during its 25th e-auction for WTC Nauroji Nagar it has achieved the highest sale realization till date with the sale of 4.8 lakh square feet of commercial space for Rs 1,905 crore.

Power Finance Corporation Limited, Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited and Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited are the major organizations who bought space during this e-auction. Out of the total area sold, around 4.38 lakh square feet having sale value of approximately Rs 1,740 crore has been sold to PSU entities. The total number of successful bidders were five, out of which three were PSU bidders and two private entities.

As on date, NBCC has sold a total commercial inventory of over 30 lakh sqft through 25 e-auctions having a sale value of over Rs 12,100 crore. The WTC project, a landmark development, has attracted marquee buyers across various industries. The project is rapidly progressing towards completion with more than 94% of physical progress achieved.
World Trade Centre is redeveloped as a commercial centre having approximately 34 lakhs square feet of commercial built up area which is being constructed in place of 628 numbers of dilapidated quarters.

The WTC Nauroji Nagar has been designed to achieve 3 star GRIHA rating. The concept of efficient water management has been incorporated with focus on water recycle and reuse. The building is equipped with efficient insulation, using a double glazed façade system in every tower, an energy-efficient lighting system in lobbies to reduce energy consumption, and heat insulated roofs. Rooftop solar panels are installed to minimize the energy consumption from conventional resources. Further adequate capacity STP has been planned along with the concept of Zero Waste Discharge.

With a workforce of around 3,000 engaged in the construction at this moment, NBCC has generated more than 2 million man-days while executing this project.
