Nepal PM arrives in Madhya Pradesh, welcomed by CM Shivraj Singh

Nepal’s Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, arrived in the state of Madhya Pradesh for a two-day visit. He was welcomed at Indore Airport by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. During his stay, the Nepal PM is scheduled to visit the renowned Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

Upon returning to Indore, Dahal will hold meetings with Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and attend a dinner hosted in his honor by Chief Minister Chouhan. This visit is part of Dahal’s official trip to India from May 31 to June 3, marking his fourth visit to the country since assuming office in December of the previous year.

Previously, Dahal participated in the India-Nepal Business Summit, which concluded successfully, further strengthening economic cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations between the two neighboring nations. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) conveyed this information through an official release on Thursday.

India and Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi on Thursday for the development of the Phukot Karnali Hydro-Electric Project (480MW) in Nepal.
Nepal Prime Minister also called on President Droupadi Murmu on Thursday. During his bilateral engagement with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, various MoUs were signed between India and Nepal.PM Modi and the Nepal Dahal jointly flagged off cargo train from Bathnaha to Nepal.Dahal laid wreath at Raj Ghat and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. and also met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Wednesday.
