On June 4, the National Testing Agency (NTA) revealed the results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) on its official website. Candidates who took the exam can access their results and download their scorecards from exams.nta.ac.in. This year, the cutoff for general category candidates has risen from 720-137 last year to 720-164. Notably, the top rank is jointly held by 67 students, all achieving a percentile of 99.997129.
The NEET UG 2024 results were announced based on the final answer key released on the morning of June 4. Initially expected to be declared in the second or third week of June, the NTA surprised by releasing the results in record time.
According to NTA data, a total of 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates appeared for the exam. Overall attendance stood at 96.94%, with male candidates at 96.92%, female candidates at 96.96%, and transgender candidates at 94.44%.

Rajasthan Tops with Highest Number of AIR 1 in NEET UG 2024.
Among the 67 candidates scoring a perfect 720, Rajasthan leads with 11 toppers, followed by Tamil Nadu with 8, Maharashtra with 7, and Andhra Pradesh and Bihar with 4 each.
