The National Test Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET PG 2024 exam will take place on August 11 in two shifts, maintaining August 15, 2024, as the eligibility cut-off date for candidates. Originally scheduled for June 23, the exam was postponed at the last moment by the Health Ministry amidst concerns about exam integrity.

Following criticisms regarding discrepancies in competitive exams, including NEET-UG, NTA Director General Subodh Singh was replaced, and the investigation into these issues was entrusted to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The Ministry of Education emphasized the decision was made to ensure transparency and integrity in the examination process.

“The government is committed to upholding the fairness of exams and safeguarding the interests of students,” an official stated, highlighting that severe action will be taken against any individuals or organizations found involved in irregularities.
