Due to a significant security lapse in Parliament, two individuals leaped from the public gallery to the area where MPs usually sit. Disorderly conduct ensued, with protestors releasing colored gas from canisters and chanting slogans. Meanwhile, outside the Parliament premises, a man and a woman sprayed colorful gas from canisters and chanted slogans. Both have been identified as Anmol and Neelam. A video of Neelam Azaad soliciting votes for Congress is gaining traction on social media.
People are expressing the view that now Congress will come to the defense of Neelam Azaad regarding the viral videos, and there won’t be any action taken against her. It is worth mentioning that before this, in May, Neelam Azaad was detained in New Delhi during the wrestlers’ protest alongside Sakshi Malik’s mother. She actively supported the farmer’s protest in 2020-21. Azaad hails from Ghoso Khurd village in the Jind district of Haryana.
