The Mohali police on Wednesday in a pond in Punjab’s Mohali found a woman’s body after she was strangulated to death.
Earlier on 13 November in Sohana Sector-78, the Mohali body of the deceased was found.
Meanwhile, as a prime suspect a suspended police officer is named in the case.
Moreover, the post-mortem report of the dead woman who was a nurse by profession revealed that she died due to asphyxia.
Deputy Superintendent of Police HS Bal said, “Body of a nurse, Nasib Kaur, was found in a pond in Sohana Sector-78, Mohali on Nov 13. Suspended ASI Rashpreet Singh has been named in the case. Post-mortem report revealed victim died due to asphyxia as she was strangulated.”
However, further investigation is underway.
