Vijay Diwas is the remembrance of a decisive victory won by the Indian army over the Pak forces in 1971, winning Bangladesh liberation war. India‘s military strength and their strategic acumen were on full display: direct intervention, Mukti Bahini training, and history’s largest surrender of around 90,000 soldiers from the enemy’s rank.
