Seven individuals lost their lives and multiple others sustained injuries after a pickup truck crashed into a container on the Mathura-Kasganj highway in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday. The deceased comprised three men, three women, and one child.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conveyed his grief over the incident, labeling it “extremely sad” and “heart-wrenching. ” He ordered district officials to hasten relief measures and guarantee that the injured receive adequate medical attention.
In a message on X, CM Yogi stated, “The fatalities in a road accident on the Mathura-Kasganj highway in Hathras district are deeply saddening and heart-wrenching. My sympathies are with the grieving family. District administration officials have been directed to conduct relief efforts promptly and to transport the injured to the hospital for appropriate treatment without delay. I pray to Lord Ram to grant a resting place to the departed souls at his feet and to facilitate a quick recovery for the injured. ”
An official announcement from the Chief Minister’s office affirmed that Yogi Adityanath promptly acknowledged the accident and offered condolences to the families of the victims.
