Srinagar, June 19 A top terrorist commander was among two killed in an encounter between security forces and Terrorists in the Hadipora Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
A top police officer told Itv network reporter over phone that two terrorists including top commander Usman were killed. The officer added that a cop and a soldier were injured in the gunfight.
He said that other slain has been identified as Umar and both were foreigners.
Earlier Officials said that search operation was laid in the area on specific input and as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.
