Several schools in Delhi, including DPS RK Puram, received bomb threat emails on Saturday, as confirmed by Delhi Police. This marks the third bomb threat incident in the past week, following similar threats on Friday when around 30 private schools in the city were targeted. Earlier, on December 9, 44 schools had received hoax bomb threats.
The emails, reportedly sent by a dark web group, warned of explosives on school premises, claiming they were powerful enough to “destroy the buildings and harm people” on December 13 and 14. The threats also criticized the schools’ security measures, pointing out vulnerabilities like uniform school timings and inadequate bag checks at entry points.
