The Leader of the Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, is scheduled to undertake a week-long visit to the United States commencing on September 8. During his visit, Gandhi is supposed to engage with members of the diaspora, address students at reputed universities, and hold discussions with American members of parliament.
Specifically, he will address the Indian diaspora during his speech in Irving, Texas, at the Toyota Music Factory at 316 W Las Colinas Blvd., Irving, TX 75039, on September 8 at 4: 00 PM CDT. The event is arranged by the Indian Overseas Congress, USA.
What is more, Gandhi shall be welcomed to Washington DC, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Texas. In the agenda is a meet-up with students from within the University of Texas at Austin and Howard University in Washington DC.
He would go to each city and diaspora events and meetings with business leaders and finish with a dinner organized by the Indian Overseas Congress. In Washington DC, there would not be a diaspora event, and Gandhi would spend all his time in meetings with lawmakers of the Republican and Democratic parties, said the Congress leader.
