Ahead of the oath taking ceremony which is going to take place on 5th December at Mumbai’s historic Azad maidan major political developments are taking place in Mumbai. As per sources, the two observers appointed by the BJP will be meeting caretaker CM Eknath Shinde to discuss the cabinet portfolio allocation.

The meeting of Nirmala Sitharaman, Vijay Rupani and Eknath Shinde will take place at Ekanath Shinde’s official residence varsha bungalow after the BJP legislative party meeting. The cabinet portfolio allocation will be discussed, there will a detailed discussion regarding the formula and the cabinet Ministry portfolios.

The BJP legislative party meet will be taking place today in Mumbai where the newly elected MLA’s will be electing their group leader. Sources also said that the group leader who will be elected by the BJP will be the next CM of Maharashtra. Both the central observers Nirmala Sitharaman and Vijay Rupani will be present for this meeting. Devendra Fadnavis is leading the race for the CM post. This meeting will take at Vidhan Bhawan in Mumbai. After this meeting the Mahayuti leaders will meet the governor and stake claim to form the government.

More than 70 VVIP’S are expected to be present for the oath taking ceremony including PM Narendra Modi, Union HM Amit Shah, Chief Minister’s of other NDA ruling states, industrialists and artists from various fields.
