MP, Rajasthan CMs Rally Support For BJP In Haryana

In a concerted effort to solidify support for the BJP ahead of October 5 Haryana Assembly elections, Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states, Bhajanlal Sharma of Rajasthan and Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh along with several BJP leaders from Centre and other states are campaigning vigorously across Haryana, focusing particularly on the Brahmin and Yadav vote banks.

Starting his two-day tour on September 26, Bhajanlal Sharma addressed multiple public rallies in Sonipat, Panipat and Karnal for the party candidates. In Samalkha, asserting that the BJP is set to achieve a hat-trick in Haryana and establish a government in Jammu and Kashmir, he said: “The enthusiasm of the crowd here indicates a clear victory for our candidate, Manmohan Bhardana, in Samalkha,” Sharma declared, emphasising the need for unity in development.

He criticised the Congress party, stating, “If you look at the last three to four manifestos of Congress, they have done nothing except ‘jhoot’ (lies) and loot (plunder).” He described the Congress as the root of corruption in India and called for the public to rally behind the BJP to continue the development trajectory.

At a rally in Panipat, Sharma continued his attack on Congress, claiming, “Congress has always divided the country and is known for making false promises.” He expressed confidence that the people of Haryana would once again vote for the BJP, having witnessed the differences between the governance of Congress and BJP. His remarks were echoed on social media, where he noted the overwhelming support from the public during his campaign.

\Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Nandgaon in Bhiwani, where he praised the BJP government’s developmental achievements over the last decade.
“In Haryana, the BJP government has implemented record development, providing Minimum Support Prices (MSP) for 24 crops,” Yadav stated, reinforcing the BJP’s narrative of robust governance. He also contrasted the BJP’s national security achievements with the previous Congress-led government, stating, “Whereas Congress allowed our soldiers to be beheaded, today our forces are taking decisive action in Pakistan.”

Yadav urged voters to support the BJP candidate, Ghanshyam Sarraf, in the Bhiwani constituency, criticizing the Marxist Communist Party for allegedly undermining employment opportunities. He portrayed the BJP as the true vehicle for national development, contrasting its agenda with that of the opposition.

Adding to the BJP’s campaign efforts, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari participated in a women’s conference in Kaithal, endorsing candidate Leela Ram. She took the opportunity to attack Congress, stating, “Under Congress rule, people in Rajasthan faced numerous hardships; that’s why we now have a BJP government.”

As the BJP intensifies its election campaign, leaders from several states, especially from neighboring Rajasthan are actively mobilizing across Haryana, with many already assigned to various constituencies to bolster their outreach efforts. In addition to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, a host of BJP leaders from both central and state levels are campaigning vigorously in Haryana, as the party faces stiff competition from Congress in this closely watched electoral battle.
