They affirmed their commitment to collaborate towards realizing the visions of Viksit Bharat 2047 and Smart Bangladesh 2041, as stated by the Prime Minister’s office.

Recognizing the significant strides made in the past decade, both leaders expressed eagerness to bolster their countries’ ties across various sectors, including economic cooperation, development partnerships, energy security, digital connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.

In addition to Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister Modi received calls from several other global leaders, including UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind K Jugnauth.

During his conversation with Prime Minister Sunak, Modi expressed gratitude for the warm wishes and reiterated his dedication to strengthening the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, extending his best wishes for the forthcoming UK elections.

Similarly, in his dialogue with President Putin, both leaders affirmed their commitment to enhancing the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership across all domains, including the ongoing chairmanship of BRICS by Russia in 2024.

Nepalese Prime Minister Prachanda conveyed his conviction that under Modi’s leadership, the relationship between India and Nepal would continue to flourish. Modi, in response, appreciated Prachanda’s greetings, recalling their joint efforts to reinforce the longstanding ties between their nations.

Mauritian Prime Minister Jugnauth congratulated Modi on his historic third consecutive term, emphasizing the trust bestowed upon him by the electorate. Modi reciprocated the sentiments, underscoring his commitment to deepening bilateral collaboration and people-to-people ties between India and Mauritius.

Subsequently, Modi responded to congratulatory messages from numerous other world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, expressing appreciation and highlighting the potential for further collaboration.
