In his first interview since being granted bail in the Delhi Excise policy case, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia expressed optimism that the Supreme Court would deliver justice for both himself and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Sisodia said, “We have full faith in the Supreme Court. I have received justice from the Court. The Supreme Court has directed me to report to the CBI and ED offices every Monday and Thursday between 10 and 11 am. This morning, I first visited the CBI office, then the ED office, and met with the investigating officers.”

Sisodia dismissed any notion of demotivation, emphasizing that crises often strengthen unity. He noted, “During times of crisis, people often come together more strongly. Despite the challenges, there was no disintegration within the party. The Delhi government continued to work diligently for the people. The AAP leadership faced severe difficulties, but both party workers and the people of Delhi demonstrated remarkable unity, which is our strength.”

On Sunday, Sisodia met with volunteers from his Patparganj constituency for the first time in 17 months. He praised their efforts during his absence and their commitment to addressing local issues. Sisodia said, “Despite the adverse circumstances, our volunteers did not lose courage. We will overcome this crisis soon and, along with the people of Delhi, will form a government with a significant majority under Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, ensuring that BJP candidates forfeit their security deposits.”

Earlier, Sisodia also held a high-level meeting at his residence with senior AAP leaders, including Sandeep Pathak, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai, National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, and Ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj. The meeting was focused on strategizing for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections. Additionally, AAP is preparing to contest the Haryana Assembly elections independently.
