Following the discussion about her book, Sharmistha Mukherjee provided advice to the Congress Party from the stage.

Discussing her book ‘In Pranab, My Father: A Daughter Remembers’ on the India News platform, Sharmistha Mukherjee revealed that the Congress Party is not particularly pleased with the book. She noted that apart from P. Chidambaram, no one else attended the book launch. Additionally, she advised that Rahul Gandhi should stay away from the Congress Party.

In the book, she writes that when she asked her father about becoming the Prime Minister, his response was, ‘No, she (Sonia Gandhi) won’t make me the Prime Minister.’ The Congress spokesperson, Sharmistha, unveils some previously unknown aspects of her father’s political life in this book. It is worth noting that ‘Rupa Publications’ has published this book.
