Gujarat: BJP Asks Pakistan To Apologize For Bilawal Bhutto’s PM Modi Comments

The BJP holds a protest in Rajkot & Gujarat against Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s comment on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP leaders gathered at the Zilla Panchayat Chowk in Rajkot and shouted slogans against Bilawal Bhutto. The president of the Rajkot unit of BJP said, “Pakistan government must apologize for the statement given by the Pakistan foreign minister.”

Moreover, the newly elected BJP MLA from Rajkot East Uday Kangad condemned the Pakistan foreign minister’s statement and said, “It was an insult to the entire country, and the people of India demand an apology from the Pakistan government.”

The controversy started when Indian external affairs minister Dr. S Jaishankar said “Pakistan is not at taking good advice, the world sees them as the epicenter of terrorism.” In response to Jaishankar’s comment on Pakistan, Bhutto said Narendra Modi is responsible for the 2022 Gujarat riots. Labelled him as a “butcher of Gujarat lives.” Osama Bin Laden is dead but the butcher of Gujarat lives. The statement sparked protests against his remarks.
