An IndiGo flight traveling from Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to Lucknow was redirected to Jaipur due to a security alert, as confirmed by an IndiGo spokesperson. The aircraft was isolated, and all passengers were safely disembarked. IndiGo is cooperating with relevant authorities, and necessary checks are currently being conducted.

Jaipur police reported that a bomb detection and disposal squad (BDDS), along with sniffer dogs, examined the plane and found no suspicious items. Sandeep Basera, the Station House Officer at Jaipur Airport Police Station, confirmed that all 175 passengers were safely reboarded after the inspection.

CISF sources revealed that 10 bomb threats were made on social media over Monday and Tuesday. A senior police officer stated that several accounts posting these threats have been identified and suspended, with some threats traced back to locations in London and other countries.

A senior airport security officer emphasized that every threat is taken seriously, as passenger safety is paramount. After receiving a threat, they inform the airlines and the relevant security personnel at the airport to follow proper procedures.

In response to the threats, the Ministry of Civil Aviation convened a high-level meeting, where Minister Ram Mohan Naidu met with officials from the Bureau of Civil Aviation, CISF, and other senior airport security representatives.
