Addressing the Semicon Ecosystem Roundtable Conference in Singapore, the Chief Minister underscored the state’s commitment to a “Speed of Doing Business” model aimed at ensuring faster approvals, transparent governance and seamless industrial growth.
Naidu noted that India has become one of the safest and most promising destinations for global investments, with Andhra Pradesh offering a particularly conducive environment for industries seeking expansion and long-term growth. He said the state government has adopted proactive industrial policies and is investing heavily in infrastructure to support emerging sectors.
Highlighting the vast opportunities available across the semiconductor value chain, the Chief Minister revealed that a major semiconductor manufacturing facility is set to be established in the Rayalaseema region in the near future. The proposed project is expected to strengthen Andhra Pradesh’s position as a key hub for high-technology manufacturing in India.
Naidu also outlined the immense potential of Rayalaseema as a centre for advanced manufacturing industries. Apart from semiconductors, he said the region is well-positioned to attract investments in defence production, aerospace, electronics, fighter aircraft component manufacturing and the automobile sector.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Andhra Pradesh is focused on building a comprehensive semiconductor ecosystem by providing world-class infrastructure, skilled manpower and policy support to investors. He assured industry leaders that the state government is committed to creating a business-friendly environment that encourages innovation and manufacturing excellence.
The Semicon Ecosystem Roundtable brought together representatives from several leading semiconductor and technology companies based in Singapore. Among the participants were Global Foundries, NXP Semiconductors, ASMPT, One System Technologies, Techsend Photomask, Aquatech and other prominent industry stakeholders.
Reiterating his call to investors, Naidu said Andhra Pradesh is ready to partner with global companies to drive innovation, strengthen supply chains and promote sustainable industrial growth, positioning the state as a major player in the global semiconductor industry.
