Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister inaugurates five new medical colleges in state

On Friday, Vizianagaram witnessed the inauguration of five new medical government colleges by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS. Jagan Mohan Reddy. The college in Vizianagaram was inaugurated personally by the Chief Minister, and the colleges in Machilipatanam, Nandyala, Eluru, and Rajamundry were inaugurated virtually. Later, after the officials had given him an overview of the medical colleges, the Chief Minister went to see the photo exhibit at the medical college.

Earlier on Thursday, Reddy directed the Education Department officials to get ready to distribute a second installment of tabs to students and teachers in Class 8 this year, an official statement said.
At a review meeting held at the Camp Office here on Thursday, CM Reddy told them to arrange training classes on the use of tabs by the digital assistants working in the village and ward secretariat.

Additionally, he requested that all schools that have finished the first phase of Nadu-Nedu by December fix IFPs and smart TVs in the classrooms. Similar to that, he recommended that a full broadband facility be made available to all schools that have IFPs and smart TVs in the classrooms by December and that a full syllabus be made available to the students. He was told that 6,515 schools now have smart TVs installed, and that 4,804 schools now have 30,213 IFPs set up. The statements also stated that IFP use training was provided for teachers.
