Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya confirmed their separation on Thursday, ending over four years of marriage. The couple, who married in 2020, have a three-year-old son named Agastya. The announcement came as a surprise to many, despite rumors circulating for months about their possible separation.
In 2020, Crickettimes.com quoted Hardik Pandya discussing how he met and started dating Natasa Stankovic. Speaking with cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle, Hardik recounted their first meeting. “I got her (Natasa) by talking. She saw someone in a hat at a place where I met her, wearing a hat, a chain, a watch, at 1 am. So she thought he is ‘alag prakaar ka aadmi aaya (a different kind of person came)’. That is when I started talking to her, started knowing each other. Then, we started dating. Then got engaged on December 31.” Hardik also mentioned that Natasa had no idea who he was at the time, indicating that she wasn’t a fan or aware of his cricketing fame.
Hardik shared more details about their engagement with Bhogle, revealing that it was a surprise even to his family. “My parents also didn’t know that I was getting engaged. Two days before (the engagement), I told Krunal. I told him, ‘I have had enough. I have found someone in my life who I love, and I am becoming better’. They (family) backed me and told ‘do whatever you want’.”
On Thursday, both Natasa Stankovic and Hardik Pandya took to Instagram to share their mutual decision to part ways. Natasa’s statement read, After four years of dating, Hardik and I have made the decision to separate amicably. We feel that this is best for the two of us because we gave it our all and tried our hardest together. We had a lot of joy, respect for one another, and companionship as a family, therefore this was a difficult choice for us to make.”

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will always be the centre of our lives, and we will co-parent to make sure we do everything in our power to make him happy,” she went on. We respectfully ask for your cooperation and understanding in order to maintain our privacy during this trying and delicate period. Natasa/Hardik.”
The couple’s joint statement highlights their commitment to co-parenting their son and ensuring his happiness despite their separation. The news has garnered widespread attention and support from fans and the public, who respect their request for privacy during this challenging time.
