A day after the death of BJP leader and Tik Tok star Sonali Phogat her family has raised questions about her death and suspected foul play in the matter.
Haryana BJP leader Phogat passed away on 23 August after suffering from a heart attack in Goa.
Talking to the media Sonali’s sister Rupesh said, “I received a call from her the evening before her death. She said she wanted to talk over WhatsApp and said that something fishy was going on. She had spoken to our mother later and complained of uneasiness after having a meal. She told my mother that her body had stopped working properly after eating.”
The family of Sonali Phogat has demanded an investigation by authorities.
Meanwhile, elder sibling Raman also claimed, “My sister could not have had a heart attack. She was very fit. We demand a proper investigation. The family is not ready to accept that she died of a heart attack. She had no such medical problem.”
Moreover, before her Phogat posted some pictures and videos on Instagram flaunting her pink dupatta.
However, Sonali Phogat contested against Kuldeep Bishnoi from Adampur in Haryana during the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019. She was defeated in this election. The popularity of Phogat increased after becoming a Tik-Tok star and a contestant on Bigg Boss. Phogat has a daughter and her husband Sanjay Phogat passed away in 2016. He too was found dead in the farmhouse.
