Prime Minister Narendra Modi has revealed his 100-day plan for his upcoming term, emphasizing the need for decisive actions for the country’s welfare. He expressed his inclination for advance planning, citing his experience and track record, highlighting accomplishments like the Triple Talaq law and the abrogation of Article 370.

Modi assured that divisive decisions aren’t part of his agenda, stressing the importance of timely actions to prevent national suffering. He addressed issues like the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), indicating its presence in the BJP’s manifesto and the Supreme Court’s advocacy for its implementation.

Regarding the One Nation One Election proposal, Modi mentioned studying a recent report by a high-level committee. Despite speculation about preparations for future elections, he emphasized prioritizing the nation’s long-term interests, particularly concerning demographic challenges.

The Economic Survey of 2019 predicts a significant slowdown in population growth, prompting the need for strategic planning. Reports suggest the BJP government’s focus areas for the first 100 days, including technology-driven growth, business facilitation, infrastructure, and social welfare.

Modi convened a meeting with his council of ministers to outline the roadmap for the country’s development, aiming for a “Viksit Bharat” by 2047. He stressed the continuity of economic momentum and immediate action post-oath-taking to achieve this vision.
