The two-day Think-20 meeting under G-20 has been inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre (Minto Hall) in Bhopal.
“We heartily welcome all the delegates in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh. We treat guests like ‘God’. In our country, we have a tradition of Atithi Devo Bhava (the guest is God). Today, I feel that Bhopal has become the intellectual capital,” CM Chouhan said.
In his inaugural address, CM Chouhan stated, “We will work for with a notion of ‘One Earth, One Family, and One Future. There is one earth and it is for everyone. One family represents that the entire world is a family in which trees and wildlife are also included with human beings. One future represents that we will save the earth for our future generation from issues like global warming, climate change, and excessive extraction of natural resources that harm nature. We have to think about the development along with nature.”
Meanwhile, G-20 delegates from various countries planted saplings at Water Vision Park in the state capital Bhopal on Monday.
Moreover, on the topic of ‘Environment-friendly lifestyles, ethical values, and propitious global good governance’ 300 ministers, intellectuals, and subject-experts from India and abroad will have a discussion.
However, out of 300 participants, there will be 94 international participants, 115 from different states of India, and around 100 local participants.
