Renowned Punjabi Slain singer, Sidhu Moosewala, is poised to release a new song on Diwali. The unveiling of the song’s poster on social media by Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, has stirred anticipation among fans who eagerly await the musical offering on the festive occasion. This forthcoming release marks the fifth posthumous song from Moosewala. Scheduled for release on November 12th at noon, the song’s lyrics will be available across various music platforms, including YouTube.
Accompanying the poster release, Charan Kaur conveyed a message, stating, “Here comes my Babbar Sher and your brother. It’s not easy to push him back; it’s better to clear the path.” As of now, the family has not disclosed the song’s lyrical content, yet the unveiling of the poster has sparked renewed trolling on social media directed at Sidhu Moosewala and the impending release.
The song titled “Chorni” has garnered a significant audience on YouTube, with a notable 5.4 crore views.
Preceding this latest release, Moosewala’s song “Chorni” premiered on July 8, 2023, attracting an audience of 5.4 crore on YouTube to date. Despite the unfortunate prior leak of Moosewala’s song “Morni,” fans have embraced “Chorni,” evidenced by its impressive reception within the first two hours, during which it was heard by 2 lakh people.
To date, a total of four songs have been posthumously released by Sidhu Moosewala. The first, “SYL,” was unveiled on June 23, 2022, addressing Punjab’s water issue, garnering 2.7 crore views within 72 hours. Subsequently, it faced a ban in India. The second song, “War,” released on November 8 last year, paid tribute to Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s army Commander-in-Chief, Hari Singh Nalwa. The third release, “Mera Naam,” emerged on April 7, 2023.
