In addition to the orange alert, a yellow alert was issued for nine other districts in Kerala. A yellow alert signifies that these districts should stay updated about changing weather conditions that could lead to localized issues.

Furthermore, an orange alert has been extended for Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts from June 14 to June 16. This extended alert period underscores the potential for sustained severe weather conditions in these regions, urging residents to remain alert and prepared.
