Modi Slams Congress' 'Anti-National' Remarks Abroad

In a fiery speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of disrespecting the nation with statements made by its leaders during foreign visits. Referring to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of the central government in the US, Modi claimed Congress leaders were promoting division and harming India’s culture.

Congress deceiving vulnerable groups: Modi’s critique
During his address at the National PM Vishwakarma Programme, PM Modi criticized the Congress for “deliberately” hindering the progress of SC, ST, and OBC communities, contrasting it with his government’s initiatives to uplift these groups.

Maharashtra cotton farmers ‘betrayed’ by Congress: Modi
PM Modi blamed the previous Congress and Maha Vikas Aghadi governments in Maharashtra for the suffering of cotton farmers, accusing them of prioritizing politics over progress. He highlighted efforts to revive the textile industry through projects like the PM MITRA Park.

Modi champions artisans, launches textile park and women-led startup scheme
As part of the National PM Vishwakarma Programme, Modi underscored the importance of artisans in India’s development, while laying the foundation stone for a textile park in Amravati and launching a women-led startup scheme with financial aid of up to Rs 25 lakh.
