In continuation of the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra, MLA Derabassi Kuljit Singh Randhawa flagged off the fourth batch of SAS Nagar pilgrims from Derabassi today. The pilgrims are set to visit Mata Naina Devi, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Mata Chintpurni, and Jawala Ji during their two-day pilgrimage.

Expressing appreciation for Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s noble initiative, MLA Kuljeet Singh highlighted that the effort aimed to provide equal opportunities to people of all religions, conveying the message that the Punjab Government respects all faiths. He noted that many individuals, especially the elderly, harbor a strong desire to pay obeisance at religious sites, and the Bhagwant Singh Mann Government has garnered their blessings through the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra.

MLA Kuljit Singh further mentioned that a bus from Gurdwara Nabha Sahib had already embarked on the Sri Amritsar-Talwandi Sabo religious circuit. The current batch of pilgrims departing today will spend two days on this pilgrimage and will have an overnight stay at Sri Anandpur Sahib.

Before boarding the bus, MLA Kuljit Singh provided kits, including blankets, bedsheets, pillows, and toiletry kits, to each pilgrim. A thorough medical examination was conducted before boarding, and MLA Randhawa assured that medical facilities would be available along the way, with government health facilities on alert.

SDM Derabassi Himanshu Gupta, present at the occasion along with Naib Tehsildar Harinderpal Singh, oversaw the arrangements, ensuring a comfortable journey in accordance with state guidelines.

Expressing their excitement to be part of the Mukh Mantri Tirath Yatra, the pilgrims thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and MLA Kuljeet Singh Randhawa for launching this public-oriented initiative. They expressed joy for seizing this significant opportunity provided by the Punjab Government, noting that many of them had longed to go on a pilgrimage but faced various obstacles. Today marks a day of celebration for them, thanks to the thoughtful initiative of the Punjab Government.
