Mira Kapoor made a stunning impression as the showstopper for Jade by Monica and Karishma’s new bridal collection, ‘A Bride’s Reverie.’ The event highlighted the blend of elegance and modernity in bridal couture, with Kapoor dazzling the audience with her sophisticated style.
In an interview with ANI, Mira Kapoor shared her thoughts on bridal fashion. Reflecting on her own wedding in 2015, where she chose a pastel pink lehenga over the traditional red, Kapoor emphasized the importance of selecting a timeless and personal bridal outfit. She said, “I felt magical. You should look happy and choose something you’ll love 25 years from now, something you can pass down to your daughter or daughter-in-law. It’s about heritage, legacy, and tradition, so it should be timeless.”
For the show, Kapoor wore a breathtaking blue bridal ensemble featuring long layers and detailed sequined embroidery. The modern touch came from a chic bib and bralette top, paired with minimal makeup, a sleek ponytail, and a delicate choker necklace.
Monica, co-founder of Jade, discussed how bridal couture is evolving. She stated, “Bridal couture isn’t about trends; every bride should feel special in a color that suits her and matches the wedding setting.”
Kapoor also noted a shift in bridal fashion, observing that brides now prioritize their own happiness. “It’s wonderful to see brides focusing on what makes them happy,” she remarked.
