In the face of rising tensions in West Asia, Iran has unveiled video of yet another missile city, saying it is “one of the hundreds of missile cities” in the nation. The IRGC-controlled facility is the third such facility publicly disclosed in less than a month, Tasnim News reports.
Senior Iranian Military Officials Tour the Facility
On Tuesday, Iran’s Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, and IRGC Aerospace Forces commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh were spotted visiting the facility in recently released footage. Their visit underscores the strategic importance of the missile base during current geopolitical tensions.
The news arrives at a time when Iran’s missile program continues to be the subject of international attention, with increasing alarm from the United States and Israel regarding Tehran’s increasing military buildup.
