Elon Musk Responds To Trump’s Potential Cabinet Offer: “I Am Willing To Serve”
In response to a potential offer from former President Donald Trump, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has expressed openness to an advisory role in a Trump administration. On social media, Musk posted a picture of himself in front of a podium labeled “Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE),” a playful reference to the Dogecoin cryptocurrency.
Trump, who is leading the Republican field in the upcoming presidential race, recently indicated that he might consider appointing Musk to a cabinet position or advisory role if elected. This announcement followed Trump’s criticism of the $7,500 tax credit for electric vehicle purchases, which he suggested could be eliminated if he returns to the White House.
At a campaign event in Pennsylvania, Trump praised Musk, calling him “a very smart guy” and expressing his willingness to include him in his administration. Although Musk has publicly endorsed Trump for the presidency, he has not yet confirmed whether he would accept the position. His recent social media post has fueled speculation about his potential future role in a Trump administration.
