She encouraged the students by saying, “Sometimes you hit the right note, sometimes you don’t. But all the practice makes for beautiful music, and that is symbolic for everything that you all will do in your lives.”

Harris and Walz also visited a barbecue restaurant outside Savannah and plan to conclude their Georgia bus tour with a rally in Savannah.

Currently, polls indicate that Harris is slightly ahead of former President Donald Trump in Georgia, with a 0.2-point lead according to 538’s polling tracker and a 2-point lead in a recent Fox News poll, although the latter falls within the poll’s margin of error. Harris’ campaign aims to strengthen support in areas beyond Atlanta and its suburbs, which were instrumental in Joe Biden’s 2020 victory in the state.

Meanwhile, JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, also made a recent visit to Georgia, where he faced his own challenges, including an awkward interaction with a bakery employee who requested not to be filmed.
