The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) has instructed CIDCO to ensure that the construction of the Tirupati Venkateswara Swami Temple in Ulwe’s Sector 12 aligns strictly with Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) regulations under the approved Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP). Emphasizing the need for compliance, MCZMA also mandated CIDCO to obtain mangrove cell NOC for any mangrove cutting within the 50m buffer zone. Additionally, it stipulated proper debris processing at designated sites, forbidding dumping in CRZ areas during construction activities. The MCZMA recommended the proposal for non-CRZ area construction with certain conditions to the planning authority.
