The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the All India Quota seat matrix for MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing Honours courses, alongside the commencement of the choice filling process for the third round of online counselling.
Career counselling expert Parijat Mishra highlighted that the vacancy matrix, categorised by seat types, shows 2,560 MBBS seats available in government medical colleges and 401 BDS seats in dental colleges.
Notably, 191 MBBS seats are open in Rajasthan’s Government Medical College, along with 78 seats at AIIMS and 626 seats in deemed medical colleges, which include 252 MBBS seats under the NRI quota and 121 BDS seats.
Additionally, there are 28 BDS seats at Banaras Hindu University, and two MBBS and two BDS seats at Aligarh Muslim University.
JIPMER Puducherry offers 23 MBBS seats, while ESA Medical College has 37 MBBS seats reserved for ESA cardholders. A total of 175 B.Sc Nursing Honors seats are also available.
Candidates can fill and lock their choices until October 8, 11:55 PM. If not by this deadline, all choices will be auto-locked. Seat allotment results will be released on October 11, with students required to report to their allotted medical colleges from October 12 to 18, bringing original certificates and necessary fees.
