The Rajasthan chapter of the Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons of India has initiated a month-long campaign aimed at raising awareness about road safety and maxillofacial injuries. The campaign was officially launched with the unveiling of an eye-catching poster that emphasizes the crucial connection between road safety practices and the prevention of injuries to the face and jaw.
Coinciding with the Road Safety Campaign Month observed from January to February, the event was graced by the presence of Rajasthan Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khinvsar. The esteemed task of highlighting the interrelationship between road safety and maxillofacial health was entrusted to Minister Khinvsar.
Eminent senior maxillofacial surgeons, including Dr Satish Bhardwaj, Principal of RUHS College of Dental Sciences, Dr Vinay Kumar, Additional Principal of RUHS College of Dental Sciences, and Dr Sankalp Mittal, Registrar, Rajasthan State Dental, actively participated in the event. Notable figures such as Maxillofacial Prosthodontist Professor Dr Gaurav Pal Singh from Mahatma Gandhi Dental College and Hospital, Sitapura, Dr. Alok Bhardwaj, Professor of NIMS Dental College, and Dr. Siddharth Mangal of ESI Hospital, Jaipur, also attended the launch.
