Maharashtra government seems to be in action after chief minister Eknath Shinde made an announcement late Monday night to meet the demand of taking stern action against erring police officer for allegedly misusing their official power and resorting to lathi-charge in Jalna during Maratha reservation agitation 13 days back in which many Maratha protestors were injured. Government on Tuesday suspended two senior police officers, additional superintendent of police Rahul Khade and sub-divisional police officer Mukund Aaghav who allegedly are said to be involved in lathi-charge which could have been easily avoided.
