The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) offices in Delhi received bomb threats on Wednesday.

According to the information received from the Central District Police, they got this information at 12:41 pm on Wednesday. On Wednesday afternoon, a man entered the second floor of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad office in Jhandewalan and threatened to blow up the office, police said. The VHP workers caught him and handed him over to Delhi Police.

Moreover, VHP also informed about the matter from its Twitter account. According to the information, a person entered the Vishwa Hindu Parishad office located near the Jhandewalan temple and threatened to blow up the VHP and RSS offices, after which there was a stir in the office and immediately the information was given to the Delhi Police. The threatening person was also held and he was handed over to the police as soon as the police arrived.

Meanwhile, Central District DCP Shweta Chauhan informed that the police have taken the accused into custody and his interrogation is going on at Paharganj police station. The team of Special Cell and Special Branch of Delhi Police is engaged in interrogating the accused.

The name of the arrested accused is Prince Pandey, who is a resident of Madhya Pradesh. During interrogation, he told that he had come to Delhi with his aunt on July 22. The age of the accused is 26 years and he is describing himself as a graduate.

During the interrogation of the police, the accused told that he has a complaint that the family of his village was converted to Christianity, for which he was wandering here and there for justice but no one was ready to help him. Due to this he got angry and threatened to blow up the VHP and RSS office. During police interrogation, the accused claimed to be a supporter of the RSS wing, but he said that some senior RSS officials were not ready to help him, so he did so to attract the attention of all other functionaries.

However, at present, the interrogation of the accused is going on.
