A 40-year-old married woman who was blackmailed by a man who allegedly raped her has been arrested in the Kolar locality of the state capital Bhopal on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a resident of Kolar the accused has been identified as Surendra Mathur (42). Around a year and a half ago the accused befriended the woman and is the neighbor of the married woman.
Moreover, by mixing the intoxicants in her tea the accused raped the woman and later clicked some objectionable photographs and videos. After this, the accused started blackmailing the victim and violated her several times.
However, after getting fed up with the blackmailing the woman filed the complaint at the Kolar police station accompanied by her family members.
Furthermore, after a complaint was filed police acted on the complaint and registered a case against the accused. The SHO Patel said the accused will be produced to the court on Tuesday.
