THANE : A 22-year-old man, Karan Solanki, has been arrested in Thane, Maharashtra, for allegedly abetting the suicide of his 19-year-old wife, Pooja Solanki. Pooja jumped to her death from a fourth-floor apartment in Sagarli village, Dombivili town, on September 1. The tragedy occurred after Karan objected to her chatting with another man on Instagram. The victim’s parents filed a police complaint against Karan and another man, Gopal Shinde, accusing them of driving their daughter to suicide. The FIR states that Shinde harassed Pooja with Instagram messages, leading to conflicts between her and her husband.
