Responseing to the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) raids at Rajasthan Congress Chief Govind Singh Dotasara’s home, national president of the party Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday, saying that with elections approaching, the ED, CBI, and IT become the actual “Panna Pramukh” of the BJP.

Kharge responded to ‘X’ by writing, “With elections quickly approaching, the ED, CBI, IT, and other agencies become the true ‘Panna Pramukh’ of the BJP.” The Bharatiya Janata Party made its final move, realizing it would definitely lose in Rajasthan! Following Chhattisgarh, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has begun taking action against Congress leaders who are participating in the Rajasthan assembly election campaign.

“The dictatorship of the Modi government is fatal for democracy. We will continue to fight against the misuse of agencies, the public will give a befitting reply to the BJP’, he added.
Earlier in the day, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at the residence of Rajasthan Congress Chief Govind Singh Dotasara in connection with the Senior Teacher 2nd Grade Competitive Examination, 2022 Paper Leak case.

The raids were carried out at the official residence of Dotasara at Civil Lines in Rajasthan’s Jaipur. The Enforcement Directorate is also conducting search operations at nearly a dozen locations in Rajasthan in connection with the paper leak case.

Meanwhile, the central probe agency has also summoned Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s son and Congress leader, Vaibhav Gehlot in the paper leaks case. CM Gehlot also took a dig at the central government ruled by the BJP stating that the latter does not want the poor, farmers and women to get benefits from the guarantees provided by the Congress.

“Now you can understand what I have been saying that ED raid is happening everyday in Rajasthan because BJP does not want women, farmers and the poor in Rajasthan to get the benefit of the guarantees given by Congress”, he added.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has called an urgent news conference to discuss the raids later today, giving the operations a political bent as the state gets ready for elections on November 25. The ED searched the homes of seven people connected to the paper leak case, including Dinesh Khodania, Ashok Kumar Jain, Spurdha Chaudhary, Suresh Dhaka, and others, earlier this month.

The searches were conducted on Friday in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), according to officials, who also stated that cash totaling Rs 24 lakh, electronic gadgets, copies of sale deeds for various properties, and numerous incriminating documents were also found during the operation.
