BJP District Vice President and Councilor Harendra Malik expressed gratitude to Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal for approving the construction of a community center in Ward No. 9 village Abhaypur.
The community center, costing Rs 2 crore 2 lakh 72000, addresses a long-standing demand of the residents. The chosen location faced illegal encroachment, and the Municipal Corporation made efforts to reclaim it. With no Dharamshala or community center previously, residents had to travel to Sector 19 or other places for events.
Malik had been advocating for the community center, even discussing it with Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta. Approval for the project was granted in a meeting chaired by Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal, eliminating the need for residents to seek alternative venues for functions.
Jasbant Numberdar and Satyanarayan also attended the meeting.
