On Monday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde provided a Rs 4 lakh aid to the families of the deceased in the Akola Babuji Maharaj temple incident.
On Sunday, a tree fell on a tin shed under which people were standing at the Babuji Maharaj Temple premises in Maharashtra’s Akola, killing seven people and injuring 23 others. The CM directed that all injured persons receive proper treatment at the expense of the government. In this catastrophe, seven devotees were killed and 23 were injured. The Chief Minister obtained information from the district administration in this regard, according to an official announcement from the CMO.

Earlier in the day, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the deceased’s family will be compensated financially from the Chief Minister’s budget. According to Fadnavis, the state government will cover the complete expense of individuals harmed in the tragedy.
“The incident in Akola’s Paras is serious and unfortunate. The government will provide financial support to the families of the deceased, while the injured will receive free medical care. I’ve ordered an investigation into the incident,” Fadnavis stated.

“It is painful to report that some devotees were killed when a tree fell on a tin shed when some people had gathered for a religious ceremony at Paras in Akola district, I pay my respects to them,” Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated on Twitter.
“The Collector and the Superintendent of Police arrived on the scene immediately and are coordinating to ensure that the injured are treated as soon as possible. We are in constant contact with them,” he added.
