Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of incarcerated Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, is set to take an active role in campaigning for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This move comes as a response to Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest and absence from the political scene.

At a press conference, Delhi Minister and AAP leader Atishi announced that Sunita Kejriwal will lead campaign efforts to protest her husband’s arrest and rally support for AAP candidates. The campaign will kick off with a roadshow in the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency on April 27, followed by another in the West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency on April 28.

“Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal will enter the fray to protest against Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest and seek votes for AAP candidates. It will start from Delhi tomorrow,” said by Delhi minister and AAP leader Atishi

Furthermore, Sunita Kejriwal’s campaign will extend beyond Delhi, with plans to visit Punjab, Haryana, and Gujarat in the coming days. Atishi expressed confidence that voters across Delhi, Punjab, and the nation at large will show support for Arvind Kejriwal despite his judicial custody, which is expected to last until May 7.

Sunita Kejriwal’s involvement in the Lok Sabha elections marks a significant development in AAP’s election strategy, aiming to capitalize on public sentiment and highlight the challenges faced by the party due to c’s legal situation.

Previously, Sunita Kejriwal made headlines when she participated in INDIA bloc rallies in Delhi and Jharkhand, where she raised concerns about her husband’s safety in jail. During these rallies, she emphasized AAP’s promises, including free power for the poor and improved healthcare and education facilities nationwide, under the condition that the INDIA bloc gains power at the Centre.

Sunita Kejriwal’s active role in AAP’s campaign underscores the party’s determination to continue its political agenda despite challenges, leveraging her presence to garner support and convey AAP’s vision to voters across various regions of India.
