The Election Commission of India has announced dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha election. The ECI held a press conference to reveal the dates. Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will be held in 7 phases beginning on April 19 and ending on June 4. A total of 543 Principal Constituencies will be set up throughout the elections. CEC Rajiv Kumar arrived at the press conference with Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu at 3 pm. On June 16, the current administration will come to an end.
Phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 will start on May 20 and will constitute 8 states and union territories namely Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
There will be a total of 49 principal constituencies in Phase 5 of the Lok Sabha Elections.
