The Election Commission of India (ECI) is prepared to oversee the third phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, slated for May 7. As a result, schools and colleges in various constituencies such as Sambhal, Hathras, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Amla, and Bareilly will remain shut. This phase will encompass a total of 93 constituencies spanning 11 states and Union Territories.
Many schools in several states have announced closures due to alterations in weather conditions. Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, and Delhi/NCR have issued heatwave alerts, prompting changes in school schedules and closures across these regions.
It is worth mentioning that schools, colleges, and other educational institutions in the state will serve as polling booths during the upcoming election. To facilitate the smooth conduct of the voting process, schools situated in the voting constituency will remain closed. Below is a list of constituencies where voting will occur. Please take a look.

- Karnataka: Shimoga, Dharwad, Haveri, Bellary and Belgaum
- Maharashtra: Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Baramati, Hatkanangale, Sangli, Satara, Raigad and Solapur
- Uttar Pradesh: Sambhal, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Badaun and Bareilly
- Madhya Pradesh: Gwalior, Guna, Vidisha, Bhopal, Rajgarh and Bhind
- Chhattisgarh: Raipur, Durg, Korba, Bilaspur and Surguja
- Bihar: Madhepura, Khagaria and Araria
- Assam: Guwahati (Gauhati), Kokrajhar and Dhubri
- West Bengal: Jangipur and Murshidabad
- Goa: North Goa
