The traffic police have declared several restrictions and route diversions for the counting of votes in the Lok Sabha elections at seven locations across the Capital. They mentioned that sufficient traffic personnel will be stationed on-site to guide drivers.

Vote counting in the South constituency will take place at Jijabai ITI for Women in Siri Fort, leading to traffic diversions in August Kranti Marg and Siri Fort Road. Commuters are advised to use alternate roads like Ring Road, Aurobindo Marg, and Josip Broz Tito Marg from 6 am to 6 pm, as per the traffic advisory.

In the New Delhi constituency, the vote tallying will occur at Atal Adarsh Balika School in Gole Market. As a result, motorists are advised against stopping or parking on Bhai Veer Singh Marg, Kali Bari Marg, and the roundabouts of Gole Market and General Post Office (GPO). According to a senior traffic police officer, vehicles found in violation will be towed away.

In East Delhi’s constituency, vote tallying will be at Commonwealth Games Village, Akshardham. Drivers heading towards NH-24 from Sarai Kale Khan and ITO should use the Akshardham flyover and turn left for Pusta Road and Vikas Marg. Those from Pusta Road can use the Akshardham flyover near the temple, take the U-turn after passing it, and head towards NH-24.

In Northeast Delhi, votes will be counted at ITI Nand Nagri, leading to traffic restrictions from Gagan Cinema T-Point to Nand Nagri flyover on Wazirabad Road starting at 5 am. Traffic will be diverted at the Bhopura border, Tahirpur T-point, and Gagan Cinema T-point. Avoid Wazirabad Road, Road Nos. 68, and 69 in Nand Nagri during this time.
